Happy last day of the campaign, Boss Monsters! We're just a few hours away from the grand finale of this campaign. It's been an incredible campaign with 18 unlocked stretch goals, over 5,000 backers, and more than $450,000 raised! That's a great sign for the future of Super Boss Monster, a game series that we want to keep supporting for years to come. It's also a great launch for the brand-new Boss Monster Junior!

Update #2: What's New in Super Boss Monster 2; Combo Pack Add-on
We won't be continuing our daily updates after the campaign. Instead, we'll be moving to our post-campaign updates schedule, where we'll aim to update you all every 4-6 weeks!

Late Pledges
We're still new to the whole "late pledges" thing, but we're trying them with this campaign. If you're curious about how late pledges work, you can learn more here. The most frequent question we think original campaign backers will have is:
Can I pledge to a project a second time, or change my original pledge, with Late Pledges?
Backers can only pledge to a project once on Kickstarter and will not be able to edit their original pledge after a project ends. If you already pledged to a project while it was live, it unfortunately won’t be possible to pledge a second time or change your reward selection through Late Pledging. However, you can update pledges in our BackerKit pledge manager.
What's Next?
We'll open up our BackerKit pledge manager in about a month. That's where you'll be able to edit your pledge, pay for shipping, and add more content from the Brotherwise catalog! We'll send out another update when we open the pledge manager, and you'll also get an email from BackerKit, so keep your eye out! For those of you that are new to Kickstarter and the crowdfunding process, don't worry. We'll provide detailed instructions for the pledge manager. We also have a great customer support team and if you ever have questions or need help, please reach out to [email protected].
We'll keep the pledge manager open for a few months, and close it down once manufacturing is finished. So you'll be able to adjust your pledge and add on products for a while! For your friends and family that might have missed this campaign, let them know that once the pledge manager is open, we will be accepting late pledges! We can also handle address changes for quite a while. You'll put in your address when you first take the BackerKit survey, but know that you can go back into BackerKit and update your address all the way up until we lock addresses down; and that won't happen until very close to fulfillment.
Updates Every 4-6 Weeks
With the campaign coming to a close, we turn our focus to prepping the files for a smooth and quick handover to our production partners. From there, they'll begin printing, and we'll share more information on that process. You can expect status updates every 4 to 6 weeks. While things can get a little quiet in the comments, we'll try to keep an eye on them. If you need to reach us more directly, please do not hesitate to contact [email protected] where our customer service manager is eager to assist!

Final Day! New Add-Ons!

Happy Wednesday, Boss Monsters! Just one more full day remains in the Super Boss Monster 2 and Boss Monster Junior Kickstarter Campaign, and the past 24 hours have already been momentous!
We unlocked three stretch goals over the last day, including our final stretch goal: a holofoil version of the Dice Queen!
Thanks to your support, we've been able to unlock 18 stretch goals! That's an awesome result for a 17-day campaign, and allows us to enter our final day with the message that all stretch goals are unlocked.
But we still have one more trick up our sleeves: new Add-Ons!
Add-Ons Update
Today we added three new add-ons to the campaign! We have two new collectible products and an add-on based on suggestions from the comments:

Super Boss Monster Diamond Painting Kit
Do you love pixel art? Now you can create it! Diamond Painting is a relatively new hobby that's very similar to paint-by-numbers. With this kit, you'll be "painting" the 40 cm x 30 cm canvas with gem-like "drills" by placing them onto a sticky canvas. You'll match the colors of the drills to the symbol, and eventually have a full pixelated Boss Monster masterpiece to display!

Super Boss Monster Desktop Display
Get the retro-inspired Super Boss Monster box as a premium display piece! Each display is printed on .75” thick optical-grade acrylic with vibrant UV-cured inks, creating a subtle 3D effect. The display measures 4.5" tall by 6" wide and comes with a wooden stand to showcase Porkusdoom in all his might. Hand-crafted by our creative friends at Artovision, the desktop SBM display is the perfect decoration for your game shelf. We already have ours and love how they look!
Big Box Dividers
This was our biggest request during the Kickstarter campaign! The Big Box includes a set of 14 dividers to help organize your Boss Monster collection. Each tab includes a space to label a section, allowing you to customize how you organize your collection. We heard from backers who want even more, so we're adding a new set of 15 plastic dividers for $7. This set of supplemental dividers will feature unique art, so each divider in your Big Box is distinctive.

Tomorrow, Johnny and Jillian will be joining Banzainator on Twitch for a live playthrough of Super Boss Monster 2 at 5:30 pm PT/8:30 pm ET! It was a deadly match last time, so you can only imagine what the rematch will be like...

Happy Tuesday, Boss Monsters! We are officially in the "final hours" of the Kickstarter campaign with under 72 hours left to go. We unlocked another stretch goal early this morning, and we are on our way to the next one!

Stretch Goals
This morning, we unlocked the Solo Mode+ stretch goal! This will add difficulty levels for the new solo mode. If you're curious about reading more, check out yesterday's update.
We must've rolled well to get this stretch goal unlocked!
We are already on our way to unlock the next stretch goal: 2 new Spells for the Combo Pack! The Combo Pack is automatically included in the Family Boss pledge and all higher tiers. It is also available as an add-on for $3!

Happy Monday, Boss Monsters! We hope you all had a great weekend as we head into Halloween season. It's the perfect time to become a Boss Monster!
We're officially in the last week of the Super Boss Monster 2 and Boss Monster Junior campaign! We still have a few stretch goal ideas left for this week and can't wait to see where we end up when the campaign ends late on Thursday!
In today's update, we'll go over the recent stretch goals and reveal the winner for the Thief Boss poll we held over the weekend! Let's dive into it.
Stretch Goals
Over the weekend, we unlocked our brand new Thief Boss! This was closer than our Fighter poll, and Lady Vix is climbing out on top!
Lady Vix uses her cunning edge to enter the Dice Age Pack
Lady Vix first appeared in Implements of Destruction, but was also added as a stretch goal racer during the Dungeon Kart Kickstarter campaign! She's been a foxy orange in both previous appearances, but her new look will be Arctic. We'll keep you updated about her final winter artwork in a post-campaign update.
At 360K, we will unlock "Solo Mode +"
Our next stretch goal revolves around the solo mode! We posted about the solo mode in this update from the first week of the campaign. Super Boss Monster's solo mode has been very well received, but some players have asked for more variety and challege. This updated solo mode delivers with a "Chaos Die" that you roll at the start of every buinld phase, which affects that round.
The Chaos Die allows us to expand on the Solo Mode a bit more, and with this new stretch goal, we'll be able to add difficulty levels! The new difficulty settings will change the potential die results to be more or less impactful! Do you seek to dominate on easy, or do you attempt to survive on Extreme difficulty? Here's an example of what the Chaos Die can do on Medium difficulty level:

Combining Super Boss Monsters with Boss Monster sets
Did you know that Super Boss Monster 1 & 2 are backward-compatible with all Boss Monster sets? If you're getting the Ultimate Starter Set, it may feel overwhelming faced with so many different expansions, so we've created some guidance on how do combine sets to get the ultimate Super Boss Monster experience!
We believe your optimal Boss Monster game session will always be playing it as A) a standalone game or B) a combo that adds one or two expansions. This is because are trusty development team hones different sets to create different standalone experiences.
But, you can really can combine sets in any combination you desire, including a mega "Every Set!" game. The only golden rule is "use only one hero and epic hero deck no matter how many other cards you have. And remember, the Big Box also comes with a Set Combination Guide for how to connect Super Boss Monster to past sets, and we have playtested those combinations to confirm they're fun.
Stretch Goals
This afternoon, we unlocked the neoprene extension mat upgrade! This was a highly requested stretch goal during this campaign, so we are excited to see it come to life! The extension mat will be upgraded for this Kickstarter with grassy town art on one side and snowy on teh other. Any pledge that contains the Big Box will receive this upgrade. Otherwise, you will have to add the extension mat on to receive the new double-sided mat!

Thanks for a great second week of the campaign! We are excited to head into a great closing week. As a reminder, the Brotherwise team takes the weekends off during Kickstarter campaigns. This means we won't have daily updates on Saturdays or Sundays, and we will be less active in the Kickstarter comments over the weekends. But we'll be back at it as soon as Monday rolls around!
